the beginning of our sunday morning hike. it was a beautiful fall day. as for the above picture, i don't know why there are SO many rocks for such a tiny little river. the only reason i can come up with is that after winter, it provides a way for the melting mountain snow runoff. in any case, i just love that from so far away, you can see the amazing GREEN i am seeing.
